This book was so heartwarming! Some of you may know I'm starting a project where I'm drawing covers for 12 books this year. This was such a feel good book that I had to choose it as my first project. Check out my summary here.

I couldn't put it down! It's been a while since I've felt this way about binge reading something. But... beware! This leaves you on a cliff

hanger. And oh boy, do I want the next book to come out! It'll be a while, because Rebecca Yarros isn't planning on starting on it right away.

I also have enjoyed connecting with some of the fandom. There is something speical about fantasy fandoms.

The Empyrean series is best enjoyed in order.

Note: If you prefer books without spice, let me know--I know some my friends prefer that. I know a good instagram to follow that can help you out.

This one I read for a book club. The family seemed surreal... but it is based on his real life. Occasionally I got lost in all the minute descriptions of the animals, but overall a good read.

If you are big readers, you might ask, how have you not read this before? Well, it's been on my list for ages, and my husband started listening to the audiobook. I joined him. It's a fantastic dystopian YA. It really got me thinking about our own society and how body image plays such a huge role. Also, how social media sometimes might feel like the "Pretties".

If you are a recovering perfectionist, who sometimes feels like you haven't done enough with your life, this one is a good book for you. Or if some of your "good girl habits"are harming you without knowing, also for you. There were some incredible points brought up that I feel like I still am processing. I listened to the audiobook, and loved it so much that I borrowed it from the library in hard copy too, so that I can spend some more time with the concepts in it. It is focused for women, but I think so much of it could be applicable to anyone. For anyone who loves Brene Brown. It has similar vibes.

(Some of this may be a reapeat for some people - I'm moving my Blog to this website)
